Phoenix Municipal Court Divorce Records

Dissolution of marriage in Arizona is a family court matter within the Superior Court. As such, the Superior Court clerk assumes responsibility over divorce records as well as the related but distinct records for annulment and legal separation (Ariz. Rev. Stat. §§ 25-312, 25-314).

The dissolution case, filings, orders, minute entries, and final decree are considered public records, subject to applicable restrictions. However, information protected by a confidentiality law is not automatically public just because it was filed in a divorce case.

Maricopa County Superior Court provides public access to family court information, such as divorce dockets and general case details. The court clerk also accepts requests for records when the desired information is not available online.
